- 2025-12-25 20:31:15: Everybody (including Stewart) is back in Nice. Whew, that was a stressful 2 weeks getting Stewart's health certificate
- 2025-12-15 22:02:09: I’m back in the Houston area to get our dog back to France. It took too long to get the health certificate last time, so Stu missed the flight and had to stay in Houston. Hopefully we’ll be back on a plane by Christmas.
- 2025-12-10 05:16:38: I have to fly back to Texas to get Stewart, our dog. The cheapest flight I could find goes from Nice to Istanbul, Turkey, with a 16 hour layover in Turkey. I'm going to try to see some sights in Turkey while I'm there.
- 2025-12-06 19:50:39: We arrived in France!
- 2025-11-16 12:02:08: We finished the construction on the house and recently found out that we were approved for French residency! This gives us a one-year visa to stay in France, which is renewable each year, so we can hopefully stay indefinitely! Our flight leaves on Dec 4.
